Dish network is a joke. I have waited 45 minutes on hold and no customer service yet Keep hearing best customer service All I wanted to know was why after getting installation a month ago they send me a new joey and tell me it will be $95 extra and to install it. What a joke and we allow this to happen.

signed up for service at$89.76 which at this point has risen to $93.08 with an additional charge of $23.43 for a receiver. How do you get a service without a receiver? Had to sign up for 2 years but the cost is not as originally stated of $89.76. I have spent hours on the phone with no results. I had to sign an agreement for the 2 years which included 15 pages of lawyer talk. With that much in an agreement, there must be something wrong.
since I switched to Dish my credit card has been used not only for my account, but an unknown account. I called Dish in June 2019 to complain about double charges on my account, disputed charges with my bank as Dish said they couldn't issue a refund. Finally in July I contacted Dish again about these charges and that's when I found out that I was being charged for my account and an unknown account. Dish called me last week, they could not give me an answer to the issues caused on my account, but did offer to allow me to cancel my contract without any penalties.
I started with Dish Network in March. Since then, I have received two attempts to tack on charges. Dish refers to them as "Roll On" charges. The free services they offer as an incentive to change over to their service will AUTOMATICALLY begin showing up in your bill after the trial period if you don't contact them. A truly customer centric company would send out an email with an "Opt in" feature to extend the service at a monthly charge. At minimum, they should have an option to "Opt out". I have never dealt with a third party company, with no knowledge of what there credit for customer evaluation is. Is this how they get more money from the customer. As far as the credit report they receive to bill more for TV. I have never received more States handling a business, we never are able to speak to the same person to get question about what is going on. I spent 4 hours on the phone with Dish Network yesterday. Talked to 7 different people including tech support twice. I've been with them for 3 years. Called to renew my contract. The price doubled and lost all of my local channels. I called back to resolve the local channels and the "supervisor" even verified that I was misquoted 2 hours earlier, and then wanted to raise the price for the local channels. Customer service at this company is a joke. In the past two days I have tried to contact them several times. Each time I called I was told my wait time would be 30-40 minutes. Who has time to wait? So I decided to try chat. I sent a message and I got a replay stating "We love a countdown" and it indicated that I was 102 in line. Really? I just contacted dish about reconnectin my old account, I recently discontinued service about the end if July after being with them since October 2014 and from 2002 until 2012, I went to ******* and i didn't like it so after the 2 year contract was over I went back to dish.
