I changed tv providers last week and attempted to disconnect Dish, I did the physical disconnect, and used the phone no. listed on their site to cancel my service. I was told there would be a 20+ minute wait, so I called later and the next day and the next, etc. and each time was told there would be a 20+ minute wait. I tried emailing but no address I could figure out worked. I have left multiple "Feedback" messages but have heard nothing back. I think their so called customer service *****. I have been a long time customer of Dish Network. Over 10 years in fact. Recently we have experienced several outages causing us to cancel our service. I never dreamed I would be mistreated because of cancelling...especially after being a loyal customer for so long. When I called to cancel I was told to uninstall my equipment, box it up, and ship it back. I have no idea how this equipment works or how it goes together. I have a contract with them. We r in a new house and the tech came out stating the only way I could get service is if I put cable in all my windows I do not want cable thru my windows when the rain comes it will come thru my windows and ruin it. They refuse to cancel my contract they expect me to ruin my house or pay off my contract when I asked for another tech they are charging me for someone else to come out and see if they can do anything

I called Dish to cancel services since they took away all the Fox Sports channels. The representative I spoke to was rude and told me I had agreed to a 2 year contract in May and wanted to charge me $460 to cancel. So fed up with this company wanting to charge me for services I’m not even receiving.

Giving a 1 star because I can't give a 0. We signed up for what we thought included NFL Redzone, regional sports and CBS. As soon as it was hooked up, CBS and regional sports are gone. CBS has ret'd, still no regional sports and now all FOX channels are gone. Last week, Redzone had issues, so they said, and we didn't get it. This week, was still in our listings this morning, but not working. Called and they said we only had a preview of it. The refer a friend promo is a SCAM! My neighbor was out of town and I did not have his information. I was told by Dish, do not worry about it you have a couple of weeks to call with that information. I just called and they will NOT honor it. If we are starting out with lies, I am wondering what is next, increasing rates, did they lie about that as well!

The service of Dish Nestwork is not a joke, it is a junk. I tried to terminate my service since I don't need it anymore. As I called the customer, it told me that I needed to wait for 27 minuets, but still nobody answered me after 40 min. Meanwhile, I used my another phone to test their business tricks: I pretended that I wanted to upgrade the service, the call was connected right away, in less than 2 second. My elderly mother got sold this. Was unhappy and confused with the system and it was going to cost her more money per month than her ****** **. She canceled in 5 days and returned everything. Months later they took 480.00 from her bank account without her authorization. And will not give her any relief. We were all treated very rudely on the phone with customer service. She was never informed about these terrible terms. Don’t buy dish it’s a rip-off

Dish network is constantly losing channels...HBO, Fox Sports, and now FS1 and 2. Every time I turn on the TV to watch a favorite show, the channel is gone. Yet there is no resultant decrease in my bill. I am charged the same price, yet my service diminishes monthly. That is not fair. I want to know when Dish will get down to zero channels and what will they charge for the Zero Channel Package. I would join a class action suit against Dish Network in a New York minute.
