A/C stopped cooling. Design Aire responded on day notified. Found and fixed problem. Great customer service from front office and *********************, a/c tech was professional, friendly, and diligent! Thank you
Sad. Technician relied on my guess as to what part needed to be replaced on my heat pump and did no tests to confirm, just agreed with me. He didn't even remove the fan to look inside the unit clearly. Instead he used a pen light to view the inside of the unit. When I asked for a quote to have the part replaced, he made a huge deal about how difficult the part would be to replace, then called his supervisor for the quote, explaining to him how awful a job it would be to replace this part. We have used Design Aire for all HVAC work since we bought our house in ****. They have consistently been timely in the repairs/replacement of our systems. The staff (******* this time) have all been very courteous, punctual, and have answered all of questions on each visit. On these sorts of home repairs, I typically do not "price shop" because some have been emergencies and also because there are way too many devious business practices out there.
