Dr. Fraser and team performed open heart surgery to repair our three year old son’s mitral valve cleft on Dec. 6, 2018. The level of personal attention Dr. Fraser and his nurses showed during our consult and throughout our journey was comforting and ultimately why we chose DCMC over TCH. I am trying to transfer my son from Austin Oaks Hospital to Dell Children's Behavioral Health and transfer was declined. I am very upset because I don't have a car and unable to visit or do any kind of family therapy. According to RN Kara and Dell Children's I don't have a right to choose where my child goes. Kara and admissions department refused to help out and let me talk to the declining Dr. Dr. Jacobson or talk to Dr. Jacobson supervisor to explain my side of the story to see if I can get it approved. I just received a phone call from my mother and she had nothing but GREAT things to say about the facility, staff, and accommodations.
