I cannot say enough about Dell children’s emergency room and trauma team. This was my first and hopefully last time with my eight-year-old being taken to Dell children’s for a trauma cat 2 emergency. I am amazed at how calm and collected the team was. They constantly reassured me about my son and stayed with him, calmly telling step-by-step in detail what they were doing next and keeping him at ease. They never left his side. The trauma provider explained every detail to me and showed me X-rays immediately after being taken.... read more

The Staff is incredible! Everyone is professional and well trained. The doctors, nurses, radiologist, social workers, chaplains, physical therapists, etc. Many blessings for all of them!

The medical center is alright I suppose but considering how one of their employees speaks of children, I personally would never bring my child here. Megan Brazil works here and has been verbally attacking people’s children blatantly on social media calling innocent babies ugly. I think that’s extremely inappropriate considering her place of employment.
I visited Dells Children’s hospital in Kyle and did not have a good experience. First of all, I was intentional on researching a children’s urgent care as our pcp indicated that an emergency care would be the only place to have the procedure done. I set up the “appointment” and told my child we were going to a place where they took care of kids. Come to find out, it’s an ER for everyone. I have been waiting since May after calling back 3 weeks later for an appointment to have my son evaluated per his pediatrician's referral. I still have not received a call for an appointment and the matter is time sensitive. Their lack of timeliness can be the difference between gear and surgery. This is specific to the craniofacial department. Someone contact me at the number in the private message I sent, please! Because one of the best PICU doctors there is my father. And I trust him with my entire life. He is an amazing doctor and will work hard with care and love to do everything he can with his team to support each child that needs medical help.
Rushed here with a sick kiddo and had never been here prior. I can honestly not say enough wonderful things about the nurses, doctors, child life specialists and even the food staff! I have never felt so comfortable in a truly uncomfortable experience. You want the best for your children and they make sure you KNOW they are doing their best.
