Joseph Bastianich, Lidia Bastianich and Mario Batali joined forces to create Del Posto. The warm, candle-lit restaurant takes diners on a tour of Italy, respectfully updating well-loved classics from each region to reflect the tradition of Italian-American cuisine. All the risotto, pasta, and spaghetti dishes imaginable, garnished with every possible tangy sauce, are waiting to be relished by Italian food lovers.

Poor Excuse!! – The famous owners and Chef of Del Posto should really examine every aspect of this ridiculous restaurant- overpriced, tiny tasteless portions, uneventful in every way- what a terrible disappointment to real foodlovers!!
Wonderful Room and Excellent Food – My husband took me to Del Posto last weekend for my birthday, and it was quite a treat. Great Customer Service! – We just ate at del Posto yesterday for lunch. It is Restaurant Week and we had a great lunch! I've read the reviews where people had bad service, but we didn't encounter any problems at all! The food was really enjoyable and my husband and I had a great anniversary meal while in town. not bad, not great – Yes, it's a beautiful restaurant. The food is good but it's not classic. I was hard pressed to find something to order. My salad had a little too much dressing. You've got to be kidding – This "celebrity" chef needs to stop reading his own press releases and get back to cooking good unpretentious food. I took my wife here for her birthday believing that when you pay $17 for a salad, $30 for an appetizer and $65 dollars for an entree you deserve the best. Boy was I wrong. Top notch food, microscopic portions, nouvelle cuisine, botox people – Food quality is amazing, but if you are hungry, you will continue to be hungry after spending big bucks. I ordered as a starter the gnocci al ragu, amazing, but only seven gnoccis came in the plate... But let's be fair, it was really good. Quite a dining experience – What service! What food! What ambiance! We went at 4:45 because that was the only reservation available and we were seeing a show after. Dinner was amazing, almost were there for 3 hours. No Iron Chef Fare Here! – The stakes are high when you have a reputation such as Mario Batali and Lidia Bastianich. For Batali, with his fabulous restaurants which include Babbo, Po and Lupa, it is a tough act to follow.
