My experience with Cross Country Moving Group was a pleasant one. I was making a cross country move and they presented with the best value I could find. I had to make the move fairly quickly due to a new job, and Cross Country was very helpful in facilitating everything I needed to make the move. I would do business with them again.

I wish I could add pictures with this review. This broker company hired an awful 3rd party to do my move for me, who then hired another third party to deliver it. You never know who has your stuff. CCMG missed their pickup window, then the price tripled upon pickup, and they tried to double it again when they dropped off, and held my belongings hostage. Stay very, very far away from this company. If you don't, at the very least take screenshots of EVERYTHING, and make sure most if not all of your conversations are over email... read more

I can't lie. I was extremely nervous about my latest move a few states over. I've had bad luck with moving companies in the past and did some research online before deciding on who to give my business to. I am happy I chose Cross Country Moving Group this time around. BEWARE! I was quoted $1400 to move all my stuff. I paid $668 for the deposit by credit card and was told when the driver gets there to pay him $330 at pick up then $329 at delivery. A few days before the pickup, the quality assurance guy calls and wants to detail out my items which raised the quote from $1400 up to $4200. He said due to the number of items I had that it was going to cost another $1000 so I paid that thinking $1700 would be it. I started with 45 items, all the big things like dresser, bed, two armoires and all my boxes plus some more items. Although I did add about 40 items to my list, most were pretty small. When I added those items they more than they charged me more than doubled my quote. The spacing size they use is completely ridiculous. They charged me 10 cubic feet for an item that was 1.5 cubic feet at the most (the reciever for a surround sound system no speakers included, and another 12 CF for the subwoofer). Got a quote for a flat rate move from Pa to Tx. Took my money just fine, but they show up late by 2 days then there was suppose to be a larger order and we dropped most of the furniture so it was down to 9 totes 1 file cabinet and a chair. They say it took more room than the original quote. They then raised the price by over 400 dollars.

They made my move into a new apartment so much easier!! I didn't think getting all my stuff into the new place would take as short a time as it did but I was pleasantly surprised. Movers were cordial and polite, handled all of my items with great care. This was the first time in my adult life that I have ever had to move and it was a great experience thanks to them. Also the price was pretty reasonable especially since it was within the same city. Will definitely use them again next time I move.

I was somewhat anxious about my move but Cross Country made everything a breeze. Their customer service was polite and courteous and paid attention to my needs. The moving staff was on time as scheduled and handled all my items with care. I had some larger items I was worried about moving such as a master bedroom set, but Cross Country had all the tools needed to disassemble and reassemble everything. As someone who moves for work quite often it is good to know there is a company I can rely on. Thank you Cross Country!

I hired Cross Country Moving Group to help me with the daunting task of moving my office space. I was already nervous and worried because of all that goes into handling all the technology equipment, but they were excellent. Because they did such a great job, I even hired them to move my home as well, and they did not disappoint. They were cautious, well-priced, and friendly, with 100% quality services. I would suggest them to anyone with any of their moving needs!
