RecommendedI had a hysterectomy there and the day surgery team was wonderful! My recovery nurse and patient care tech were fantastic.

This review is concerning the ER. My wife went in around 5 p.m. with severe abdominal pain. I was waiting in the parking lot, due to COVID, so I will try explain what my wife called "the worst experience of my life". She did have a long wait in the waiting room. I understand that. That's how it goes. But once she got in a room, her experience was horrible. First of all, screaming and crying in pain, but the staff treated her as if she came there only for pain meds! They will not bill my health insurance STILL after an accident that happened in SEPTEMBER OF LAST YEAR. I keep calling, they never have an answer. I also request a UB92 form every call so I can send it to my insurance and request they help pay the bill. Porter Regional REFUSES unless I pay the bill first. My ER experience was an absolute joke, and I was billed for things done without my consent and without explanation (post MVA, I was fully alert). the nurse was BEYOND rude! I didn’t even get her name but she was red headed, dismissing my symptom and becoming skeptical of what I was saying. A doctor, Dr. Cardenas I wasn’t comfortable with was gonna examine me, and I kept reminding them I just wanted to leave, I’m not feeling comfortable with a pelvic exam. Recommendedits got a family atmosphere great nurses like (Jamie) and the rest of the staff are great & the doctors are nice lab and x-ray are nice they listen they care.like all hospitals there will be someone you don't really like but they all have a job to do and they do it well.i just had to go see them and they helped me when i didn't know what was causing my pain.they ran the test got the pain down to a level I could tolerate and found a few problems I didn't know I had all this help they gave me on top of dealing with a high risk... read more

Go somewhere else. They lie to your face. Dara looked me in the eyes and lied to my face. Ms America (really?). Would not take responsibility for the actions of her employees. Or make the situation right. We are customers treat us like it. Do not just say security should have told u. Clearly printed in many spots 2 per patient or discretion of the staff. They should explain upon arrival the policies in place instead of saying someone else should have told u. Ultimately health care is a business and I for one will take my bus... read more

nurses are hateful as well as the doctors. no need to treat people poorly just because they keep having to come in because of PICC line problems.
