The staff is always nice and get you taking care of in a timely manner.
I'm in Huntsville from out of state to celebrate Easter and my niece's baptism today, and lo and behold I had to make a rush visit to the ED early early this morning. EVERYBODY was so professional, nice, and had excellent bedside manner. If I lived here in Huntsville I would come back to Crestwood for any future services needed, and I would definitely recommend your hospital to anyone in Huntsville. I'm a Registered Nurse myself who works in a hospital, and I give the staff here 5 out of 5 stars. Excellent job everyone!
I was a patient there 3/2 for a surgery and had to stay overnight. The nurse that got me after my stay in post op was the only nurse the entire stay that ever showed any care or concern. I had excruciating pain that was not being controlled and she called the doctor to get help for me. After that I did not see a nurse unless I called for one they asked my pain level but not once did they follow up to see if it was better. No one took my vital signs during the night. This hospitals L&D department places signs up implying to new parents that circumcision of healthy baby boys is not "optional". This was shocking and highly disturbing. They tried to con me into mutilating my son no less than 5 times, even after I was extremely vocal with them it would never happen. I advise avoiding this facility. I was also concerned about the MRSA infection risk on the Unit. That bug is extremely dangerous and I wish I knew about the rates on the unit before we went there.
Just had a minor surgery on my right thumb. No issues. Dr maddox and his team was great. Granted never saw the procedure since a local anesthesia knocked me out for an hour. But woke up feeling good and bandaged right thumb. No complaints from this guy and let's see what my post ops says. Still, thank you Dr maddox and his team. It was a comfortable experience. Hope I be discharged in next 30 minutes.
So thankful for the staff at Crestwood Medical Center. The care, compassion and reassurance we received was PHENOMENAL and just what my husband and I needed as we transitioned into parenthood. Without a doubt, we chose the best place to have our baby. Every nurse, doctor, and support personnel member we encountered was kind and more than willing to help us during our stay at the maternity center. Keep up the great work!
Daughter was seen in ER for back/kidney pain that had gotten worse over last couples of days. Not happen with how she was treated. The nurse never acknowledge themselves as her nurse. Urine sample was collected results were never given to her as to whether it was negative or positive for anything, was told she was being discharge and to sign the paper work without knowing what she had been diagnosed with, was given prescriptions but was not educated on medications and why she was given the prescriptions.
