I paid 180 dollars for sunglasses as a Christmass gift for my son. I had Costa sunglasses for the last 15 years and have always be satisfied with the sunglasses and with Costa service. What he received is pure garbage, polarization, the material and the hinghes is such bad quality that it made me ashamed. I have seen sunglasses sold ilegally by people in the streets of better quality. This is an "armed robbery"
Waste of money! Garbage quality that fell apart in days, warranty is a scam. Buy Oakley instead.
Please share with everyone you know that Coasta Del Mar is a scam! I purchased a pair of Howlers for my husband two years ago. After 6 months, the paint began to peel off of the frames. I contacted the company and they told me to return them because they were under warranty. These glasses were his nice glasses so they experienced minimal wear. I sent the glasses back in APRIL 2020! I have been wearing Costas for over 20 years and I am sad to say that Costas are no longer Costas! Since they have been taken over by Luxottica the once awesome Costa Del Mar brand has been ruined. Most recently I tried to send a pair of glasses back for repair due to a broke frame and even with an original receipt I was unable to send them back from where I bought them, through Lens Crafters (a company owned by Luxottica) or through the Luxottica online portal. Lens falls out of glasses and company says this is not a defect
Ordered a pair of "in stock" sunglasses during the Thanksgiving sale. They cancelled my order stating they are out of stock (website still states they are in stock). I called and they would not honor the sale price because the sale is over. My experience with customer service was horrible as I was disconnected twice and spent over an hour on hold while they "tried" to fix it.
Unsurprisingly my complaint is similar to the others. I returned a pair of sunglasses to Costa Del Mar that were received (confirmed by UPS) on September 2nd. It is now mid November and I have yet to receive a refund. I have contacted the company multiple times and each time am told it has been escalated to a supervisor and I will receive my refund in 3-4 business days, yet this has not occurred. Worst customer service ever! On 4th pair of Ferndanina's. Nose pads come off EASILY and of course you cannot just go to a drugstore or ******* and some for a few bucks! They say that the nose pads are not a part they can order anymore. Should have purchased **************!!!
Terrible customer service. Cheap quality. Costa Delmar was bought out and they do not honor warranty. They said there were no parts in the warehouse to do warranty work. But then they said they had parts they could sell me.
