Estimate was around $250 and charged OVER $950 -- and then said it would all leak out, anyway, but I could apply it to a NEW unit from them! AND said I couldn't get that unit parts, nor get that kind of freon any more. So why would I pay that just to do a patch job on it? I should get a refund of most of that money!

My A/C died in the hottest week of the year. I called progressive who gave me the run around about even coming out to look at it. they finally got to me an hour later than they said which was 7:00 at night. They charged me $80 to tell me what I already knew the told me it would be beginning to middle of July (2-3 weeks) before they could install.
