I was in the hospital for over a month in antepartum with a very high , doctor Taylor and doctor Goodrum were my OBS. I received amazing care by all the nurses. It became a second home. They truly invested in me and I received outstanding care! Fast forward I delivered at 26 weeks gestation to my daughter, Azlyn. She was in the NICU for almost 12 weeks. I had the most caring service from all the nurses and Drs. The complete staff. They got me in quick stabled my condition and operated on me the next day. No problems
I will never take my child to this hospital again. They have no bedside manner and unfortunately when I had to take my 7 week old to the ER I had an awful experience. We had an ER nurse laughing and saying "woah dude it got higher" (talking about her temperature which was 102 and climbing at this time. He had also forgotten to put in the order to get her Tylenol so this was about an hour after he was supposed to give her another dose. I would like to thank Dr Hoang Pham, who is a General surgeon, for doing my bilateral mastectomy and skin take down left breast as result stage 1A breast Cancer. He is so awesome! He provided me with direct contact info and personally came to my home to change a wound vac dressing when OR failed to send me home with supplies. This is the most caring and know exactly what's going on staff! The doctors and nurses. They got me healthy again before I walked out the door. They are (the staff) and the doctors we're all so caring, patient, honest, didn't make me feel like I had to go their way, I got to choose most of the ways my care went, since I've been in and out of hospitals the last 20 years of my life. Truly the worst experience I have ever had in any hospital I have ever dealt with in my 44 years. The Strong arm mafia of Houston Medical Hospital (as found online it is called the Clear Lake Medical Shake Down) and truly the worst communication with no humanity behind their actions. This hospital openly allows people to sit on their park benchs nd curbs right outside their hospital and literally right next to the SMOKE FREE ZONE signs forcing it's patients to the street to get fresh air. Just look on the grounds...it's littered with cigarette butts...brought this to many of the staffs attention. .. and although they were sympathetic. .
