The food was good and our servicer was very friendly and helpful. I had the chicken burrito with green chilli sauce and it was delicious. My wife had the John Madden Special (go figure) and although she did not make a real fuss, she said that it was very good. There are two sections and the other had karaoke. Our side had the football game on widescreen
We ate here after checking to Hampton Inn and being recommended here. Very good service with big screen TV for Madden hall of fame and game. The beer was cold and food was marvelous and very reasonably priced! We'll be back.
On my travels to Phoneix, AZ had a great lunch here. Spanish steak was the something different I was looking for. Nice local type restaurant. A sure fire must return on the way back. Reasonable prices as well.
Great food! Friendly staff. Interesting Don Madden and sports history! Mostly Tex-Mex food, not too spicy, not expensive.

Chuy's is a good place to eat Mexican food when traveling. I ordered the chicken taco's and was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews. They also have flat enchilada's which my husband ordered and I remember from my childhood. A little mild in there seasoning - I prefer more heat so I added the salsa to my food.
We were there on July 19, 2015 on the first leg of our trip to West Texas. I was traveling with two sports nuts that liked Mexican food so I decided this would be the place to stop. They were enthralled by the football paraphernalia & John Madden items. I ordered the enchiladas which were excellent. Overall it was a good experience and I will definitely go there again.
Whenever we travel from east coast to Arizona, we always pick the southern route through Van Horne, Texas so we can eat a bunch of awesome Mexican food at Chuy's. NFL announcer John Madden made the same frequent stop. Guaranteed not to disappoint Mexican food lovers.
the food was excellent, beer was cold and enjoyable. Good Mexican food and atmosphere. They advertise that John Madden eats there at least once a year and they have his favorite meal named after him.
