HORRIBLE company to work with and the advantage program is a scam. You will pay hundreds a month and it will not go towards the balance due for the equipment. I sold my home and wanted to pay off the balance owed. They do not put into consideration any depreciation of the equipment or the hundreds you have already paid them. Leak from upstairs toilet. First Falso plumber said intake valve would repair. Charged $265. He didn't wait to see if leak stopped, was so confident, so he took the check and left. Within 30 minutes, water leaking again. Another plumber came out and said I'd have to hire a contractor to rip out my kitchen cabinets and do thousands of dollars of remodeling because leak was in drain pipe in wall. Absolutely horrible experience. I was lied to many times by almost everyone I spoke to. From the "comfort advisor" who didn't even know what size system I have or how to size a replacement to the "operations manager" who didn't know anything about anything. Lied to me, tricked me and illegally did a hard pull on my credit after telling me it would be a soft inquiry. Also, many thousands higher than every other company for lesser efficient equipment. Extremely poor service - purchased a new unit on 5/27/20 and not even 3 months later the unit stop working. I called Orangutan at 9:46am and customer service rep I spoke to said technician would be out between 12pm-5pm. At 4:49pm I called to get ETA as I watch my wife and dog suffer and stayed on hold till I was directed to voicemail. It is now 5:23pm and I have not heard from the company. This is unacceptable as my wife now tries to call again to find out what is going on.
I stopped my service contract halfway through. The service contract is simply BS and they don't know what they are doing. They installed the furnace and air conditioning equipment for the old owner of this house- don't keep track of the maintenance records accurately. In the past two years I have had a different person come out each time and it has steadily gotton worse. This last time, i ask them to check the water filter for the furnace humidifier and he told me that I needed it changed but it wasn't part of the maintenanc... read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. I called on this company to come out & perform a maintenance check on my HVAC system. Turns out the AC system was not working. The coils were frozen & to unfreeze the coils would cost $123. I approved the work. A second man who showed up (whom I assumed was a supervisor) suggested that rather than continually put money into my current, year & a half old system, that I should get a whole new system. Unfortunately our boiler stopped working. We reached out to RJD and Byron gave us an estimate on a repair. He spent ample time with us and gave us clear information. We decided to go with a new boiler so we then met with David in sales. He again spent a lot of time with us and laid all of our options out clearly.
