I had called service experts to check my A/C as I had a service contract. About 4/2/20, a serviceman AND a salesman came to my house. The salesman proceeded to tell me that my A/C was old and needed replaced although it had worked at the end of the previous season. They wrote up a contract: $15,000 paid over 10 years (128.50/month), a lien on my house and at the end of the 10 years I still would not own the A/C but would have to pay approx another $4,500. During my semi-annual service appointment, Tech diagnosed capacitor was below specification and suggested replacement. He quoted price of $140 which I paid. Being curious, I googled part he installed and found it was available for less than $3. After complaining about price in survey, I received a call about situation. Caller stated corporate sets pricing for parts not local management or Tech. If you use their service, suggest you research pricing before having them replace any part.

I just had my first maintenance appointment with D&K. I was very impressed with the technician's knowledge and professionalism. Well worth the price and time.

Excellent response time. Technician Adam was very knowledgeable, upfront with the pricing options and clearly explained what the issue was with my furnace. I will likely contact this company when it is time to replace my furnace. Highly recommend.

When our old gas-hot water boiler shorted out, we called Knohelman in Cincinnati. They responded promptly by sending out a sales rep. He seemed very knowledgeable and service oriented. He looked at our boiler and asked to be taken through our house to see all the radiators and baseboard heaters. He was probably here at least for an hour before leaving and promising us a quick quote on replacement. Shortly thereafter, he did call with a quote that was in excess of $12,000. WARNING! Do not use Pink Plumber. Call T&E Certified Plumbers instead. We had an entire home contracted to be plumbed by The Pink Plumber. From the start we should have recognized the issue. Our tech, Josh was the one who gave the quote and was going to be our main contact. Sadly, he didn't really know how to actually re-plumb a home. We had many issues arising in the first week. I requested H& N A/C a firm I have used for 11 years to come out to review a problem. These guy showed up. I was never made aware of the fact that H&N had been sold to this firm and I had to call the office and press them to find out the former from the woman on the phone. The two guys who showed up one was a tech and the other was a salesman who had one thing on his mind. had a water heater installed by A-1Chesney in Calgary, Alberta Canada under their Advantage Program. Completely satisfied with the very professional installation. Appreciated that all Covid-19 protocols carefully observed. Also have our furnace from them and equally satisfied after one year of operation.
