He confirmed that the quote I was given was an error and stated that the manager who signed off on it had been "let go." We needed a new air conditioner for our HVAC. We have a gas furnace for heat. ******* sold us a hybrid heat pump that switches to the gas furnace at the point the temperature fell too low to be efficient as a heat pump. The biggest selling point, emphasized over and over at least ten times during the sells pitch, was that the really great feature was the Emergency Heat setting to supply some heat if the gas was ever out. I would give Service Experts Company a negative 10 review if it was possible. My mother's current air conditioner is 5 1/2 years old. Still under warranty until 2026. Service Experts owns the extended warranty. My mother is 83 year old and hard of hearing. My mother believed what she was signing was a temporary thing to fix her existing Air-Conditioners' issue. Incompetent, shady, or both. These guys showed up with both a technician and a sales guy. Technician took a look at my faulty furnace for a few minutes, told me a part that needed to be replaced, but said there was no guarantee the new/replacement part would be compatible(?). Suggested I get a whole new system furnace + A/C. Sales guy tried the high pressure sales approach to get me on their 'advantage' plan, which is a lease where you will pay monthly and end up paying twice the cost of the new system over the course of 10 ... read more
Crystal arrived for my annual heating inspection on time and completely following the CDC guidelines for COVID. She explained everything to me and instructed me on the proper way to flush out the system and how often I should change the filters etc. I really appreciated the time she spent addressing my concerns and answering my questions.

ORANGUTAN HEATING (TEMPE) company will scam you, especially the senior citizens. This company was awful to my mom and the sales representative tricked my mom into getting a $12,000 AC unit which she didn't need, he knew my mom was on a fixed income and he didn't care. And when she tried to call the company to talk about her bill the represenative didn't want to help her and made her feel worthless. This is a warning to EVERYONE and especially SENIORS, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

When my furnace needed repair, the technician was accompanied by a representative of "Service Experts Advantage Program". Of course I was told my furnace needed replaced and they had a deal where I could get a new furnace and AC. It also included free servicing. The equipment was of good quality. I was told that if I sell my home, I would need to pay off the balance of the equipment. I would have given the Pink Plumber a much higher rating but my experience with management changed my perception. In October 2021, I had a broken water pipe causing water to puddle up in my front yard. I called the Pink Plumber and a service technician, Arthur came out to access the issue on 10/15. The worst decision I ever made was trusting this company. They promised whatever they thought I wanted to hear when they were here, they promised to perform work and after the agreement was signed, they disappeared. It has been 3 months and even after several calls, they haven't completed the work and aren't even communicating with me to let me know why.
