I paid to have my HVAC serviced to find out why my outside unit was making a strange loud noise. The first service guy after checking in early January 2022 said that I would have to pay over $3,000 to get it fixed. The service manager, Dave, came out on 12/31/2022 said that he herd the noise which he described as a mouse sound and that he moved a valve and fixed it. He had a long conversation with me about the noise that he heard while standing at my front door. He told me if I heard the noise again to call and that he would... read more

We called to have them come out and diagnose issues with our furnace. They said they would be there between 2-4 with a call half an hour before. They didn't show up so we called back they "lost" the work order and told us someone would be there between 4-6, so we lost a whole day of work waiting for them. Then, we asked specifically on the phone how much it would cost for them to come and diagnose the issue with our furnace. They stated it would be $99. As soon as their salespeople walked in the door they said we want to mak... read more

Midway Services installed an A/C seven years ago and regularly maintained it. A problem was found a week ago that was causing the refrigerant to leak, where, the tech could not say. Their recommendation was to replace the system and lease it from Midway/Service Experts. Sounded like a viable option. Thought about it and called another A/C company for a second opinion. The second company also diagnosed the problem and went on to find its source and called the manufacturer to verify the part was still under the 10-year warrant... read more

I thought I was "financing" a new system. No one said anything about "leasing." I admit I was working from home and rushing, but I didn't find out until months later that I signed a lease, not a finance agreement. It cost me $31,000 to get out of the lease. The cost of the lease, had I not broken the lease and paid the extortion fees, would have been $48,000. Who in their right might would pay this for heating and air? Again, I take responsibility for signing something I didn't read, but luckily, I could pay them off. What i... read more

We understand how frustrating HVAC expenses can be and apologize if we did not do a better job of explaining our prices. While some of our customers prefer to pay everything up front, others do not, and as such, prefer our Advantage Program. Our Advantage Program pricing allows our customers to have peace of mind with continual maintenance support on new equipment for one low monthly payment.

We bought the best heat pump unit from Service Experts 11 years ago and today they say it is nearly worn out and needs replaced. We paid for yearly service contracts on the unit and in the last seven visits they have found costly repairs 5 of those times. I am now changing away from them and shopping another HVAC company that is privately, locally own. I am furious at Service Experts Heating and Air for these on-going costly repairs.

Just don't use them, will charge you for something you no longer even have possession of!! The new people who purchased our house are choosing not to sign the transfer paperwork to assume the hot water tank rental so Bryant has decided that I should keep paying for the new owners of the home to have hot water. 3 months now I have been charged and don't even live in the province anymore. This is apparently my fault according to Michelle as its not there Job to chase down customers. Stay away from.this company they are more th... read more

Stevenson Heating and Air is a scam, I just purchased a home which is a cost in itself. Trying to watch my spending with updates and had a Technician come out from Stevenson, Dale (only honest guy at Stevenson). He replaced my thermostat and said my furnace just needed a cleaning. I then scheduled another appointment and requested Dale, instead I got a scam artist, Mike O. When I was distracted he took a well running furnace and ruined it! Said it was over heating and the heat exchanger was cracked and said his sales guy was... read more

Technicians were friendly and worked quickly to get the job done. Took the time to explain the functionality of the new water heater. They did a great job.

Business response:

We strive to provide excellent service and are thrilled to hear that was reflected during your recent experience!
