Casteel's dispatch was extremely demeaning to me. I had them come out to check my nest thermostats and ended up paying $239 for a hard start kit and I am still not getting any cold air. Now I'm being told because I didn't bring the technician upstairs to my other thermostat it's going to be another $89 plus whatever new he fixes. They say they warrant their work so I'm on the phone with them again to come out ASAP to figure out whatever they did and why it's not working. I feel extremely taken advantage of and lied to. Casteel purported to be an "expert" in Nest thermostat issues. So far they have been anything but. They took $200 from us and did absolutely nothing. Now they expect my wife to miss a day of work so she sit around to see if they choose to show up between 8 and 6. Stay away!
This company simply does not care. They give you a 5 hour window, where you are trapped in your house, and then they don’t bother to show up in the window. They don’t care that they missed the window, or that you have a life and other things to do. I would not recommend them to anyone. They also seem to operate out of code, and use some shady tactics (telling you something costs “thirteen-fifty” when in reality, it’s $1350.00). They’re just so dishonest.
I am beyond happy with my service. Great service and caring people! The tech that came out apparently told someone in the office my husband is recovering from Cancer. A few days later he received a card sign by everyone in the office sent with prayers! Blessed to do business,with them
Our hot water went out on a Sunday night. Called Casteel the next day and they were out the same day! They replaced our water heater in a timely and efficient manner. We also found out at that time that our electrical panel was mislabeled from when the home was built. They were able to get an electrician out the same day to label it correctly. It was a great experience from beginning to end!
Best company ever. They prove their amazing care day in and day out.
