I just received an invoice by email for a $7800 air conditioning unit that was installed today, but gee it still doesn't work. The installer said he only installs and can't get it running. Couldn't they call someone before 4:30 for assistance. I have been without air conditioning since Wednesday and Casteel has been out here every day since then and still no air conditioning, but I have the invoice. Their solution is to send a technician to REPAIR a brand new unit that oh yeah cost $7800. Don't think so! They can't understan... read more

We have used Casteel for about 25 years and continue to be grateful for their care. I’m suffering from pneumonia and of course one of our ac units goes out on a Friday night. They were able to get it running Saturday morning. It’s now Monday 7am and they are on the way to replace a unit that they have kept running/limping for 8 years! We have them out twice a year to service our systems! Do think they could have a buy 5 units and get one free policy though! With two houses over the years...I’m sure we are over 5 by now!
What happened to Casteel's high level of service? We have been loyal customers and brand ambassadors for years but as of this week, we are questioning that loyalty. We have a broken unit and have had 2 service appts where problems were supposedly identified and fixed, but our unit continues to be broken. I can't get a service manager on the phone so trying this route - Please have a Customer Relations manager return my call ASAP
First, Technician was supposed to arrive between 4 and 5pm. When 5:30 came around with no sign of anyone or a phone call saying they would be late we finally called and they said a technician was on the way. They showed up at 7:30!!! Second, said something was wrong with one AC unit and would have to come back but fixed the second unit, supposedly. Well, it’s HOTTER in my home now then before they came. Had our regular A/C inspection and cleaning May 15. This past week, the upstairs unit failed and scheduling a tech to come back out will be TWO WEEKS! Not much of a service guarantee when they're not available when you need them. Time to ask for my money back!
