Carrington Loss Draft Department is a total joke every time you call to speak with someone about your claim it’s always a different story. We’ve been out of our home since February 16, 2021. We’re also out of pocket 25,000 for demolition and mold remediation. Carrington Loss Draft has held two checks totaling over 100,000.00.

Never work with this company ever! What mortgage company doesn't leave messages to call you back when they try and contact you? Or doesn't ever show up on caller ID or your call logs for your phone when they claim they tried to call you? What company calls the wrong number to get in touch with you multiple times then back peddles to claim it only happened the first time? This one! Absolutely the Worst company that I have ever dealt with!! We own a Roofing & Restoration company and we did work for a mutual customer back in November 2020. Their insurance company paid and we needed to get the two checks endorsed and after submitting all the documentation, which was extremely poorly communicated, they finally issued the checks. Carrington said that they where sent out on March 16th but they NEVER arrived and still have not. We did and urgent Stop payment & Re -issues and they keep giving us the run around... read more

This company got two returned checks and now they expect me to send a cashier's check. I sent a bank draft from the bank, certified funds, but they will not the bank to verify it. Do not do business with them.

This company took over my loan from my local bank and it has been a nightmare ever since. They increased my payment from 700 to 800 with no explanation. They neglected to pay my taxes multiple years in a row. When I lost my job due to a medical condition they refused they proceeded to foreclose on my house even though I had submitted requests to their "Mortgage Assistant Program" After paying $5000 to save my house from foreclosure, they secretly tacked on $400 in fees even though the paperwork stated that this was the final... read more

I recently had a roof replaced due to severe snowfall and water damage in Chicagoland area. I received the check from the insurance company. Signed it and submitted all documentation to Carrington. My contractor submitted his documents and so did I. It has been 4 weeks, I have not heard a response from anyone at the company. These have to be some of the most incompetent people ever put together under the same roof. After 3+ years trying to resolve a recurring problem with my escrow and insurance account and following their instruction on how to resolve it many times I am still getting the same results. It has become frustrating beyond the imagination. I will be moving my mortgage and any/all financial dealings as far away from them as is possible even if it costs me to do so.
