WARNING!!!! You will have nothing but problems if you attempt to get a loan through this company. I submitted everything they asked for within hours, and each time I am told that’s all, now I missed my contract deadline and stand to loose my earnest deposit, appraisal and inspection funds, because they are busy at the end of month, when they had almost 60days to gather what they needed.
This company bought our house loan from **** ** ******* and contacted us with an offer to lower our interest rate. They were very fair and had fast, great service. I would recommend them to anyone looking to. Get a homeowner loan

Very Quick and seamless process
Carrington Mortgage bought my mortgage from **** ** ******* in Feb 2018. When I went to pay my first payment with Carrington, they didn't even have an account number for me. They said to put my *** account number on my check. I had to mail a check because they did not have my account online. When I finally was assigned an account number and went to make my next payment online, they charge a $5.00 fee to pay your mortgage online. I am perplexed how they have a A+ Rating. Appears there is some form of agreement. 28+ Reviews and 149- Reviews means that the math is off. My mortgage note was transferred to them 5 years ago. I have had nothing but problems since then, During the 2017 Storm season, I was in a disaster area hit hard from the storm. Refinanced our home with this company terrible time. Hide the closing disclosure in a email we signed for the appraisal then the amount of cash back changed before closing was never told or informed until day of closing when notory showed us. Then none of the people answered their phones to help with the problem and found out the underwriter tried to pocket the extra money cause magically after asking to speak to supervisor he said I can pull it out of my pocket and give u the amount.
My mortgage was put here after being with BoA for 5 years. What a mess. The website is slow and most times resourceful. To speak to someone besides the front line customer rep's. is near to impossible. To get help or support on an issue you may have (PMI for me) was exhausting.
They allowed us to determine the closing location and time.
