My account was sold from *** to Carrington and ever since, I have received tons of mailings and calls asking to purchase my home. Carrington has sold my contact information, which should be illegal and a violation of my privacy. I received an "ANNUAL ESCROW ACCOUNT DISCLOSURE STATEMENT - PROJECTIONS" and now required to have a balance in my escrow account at all times of $885.32. Carrington took over my loan from **** ** ******* I received no notice of this change. I found out that this change happened when I tried to make my monthly payment with ***. I call Carrington and they would not accept my payment. I was asked a series of questions, and told that I could apply for a loan Mod. I submitted my documents and waited. They use illegal tactics to make you pay more money on established mortgages, they are not a bank and do not put customers first. I was unwillingly transferred to this company in the **** ** ******* shuffle two months ago. They constantly send advertisements for other mortgage services, they did my escrow 4 months early and told me I'm short. Then they want me to pay an $1800 escrow cushion. I hope they sell my loan, this company has been nothing but a 2 month headache. They also make you pay $5 to send your mortgage payment... read more

#WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! If I could leave a score of no stars I would... I recently had a claim on my property and the insurance company had finally issued a check to me to resolve the issue but low and behold the check is also issued to Carrington Mortgage... It initially took 15 minutes to call in and find out they I needed to send the check to them so they could endorse the check and send it back to me and that I had to file a claim with them???? They have an appearant lack of training in their customer service department because they constantly give wrong information that leads to excessive delays in business dealings. It’s a very long story on what happened but suffice to say at this time that l was given wrong information on business transactions. Very frustrating. I even spoke with a department supervisor addressing my situation and her attitude was that she could basically care less and treated me like l was the problem. I was recently transferred from Bank of America receiving my first statement dated 9/14/18. I then received the Customer Help Ref to set up an online account. Upon doing so immediately - my account was already flagged. I tried numerous times after that - still flagged. Then suddenly I receive not 1 copy - but 4 copies of the same exact letter - Notice of Intent dated 14 days later - 9/28 without even a chance to make a payment by 10/1. Seriously ?????? I have tried for days to pay my mortgage payment online but their system wouldn't take it. I have called numerous times and been on hold for at least an hour combined and they are closed on the weekend. Now, it's possible that I have a late month that may show on my account. I have had rude encounters before and I am not all happy with this company's services.

I am dealing with a lady in Texas Katrin, talked me into deed of liens, said I would get check. When I call they say I need fill out form , there email me, never got by mail or email. Can see they are doing yard work my property going Move back in they can go expense of getting me out

I have been dealing with CMS's loss draft department, it has been over 2 months that their inspector confirmed that over 90% if the work was done, however they haven't released the insurance money to pay my contractor. I had to get a loan to pay my contractor, and the loan is accumulating interest. I've contacted CMS loss draft Dept various times, and they always request something different in each call instead of leaving sufficient INFO on their system to give me a complete response.
