I want to say everything went well, the rep who help me gave me great information. He knew what was right for my loan and everything went in a timely fashion. i want to thank everyone at Carrington Mortgage who work on my loan

Customer service is terrible, the only know their script. Communication is lacking. I have corrected my contact information with them several times and it's never updated. They push you to pay online and then charge you for it. They charge late fees when payments aren't late. Terrible experience so far. Zero stars.

This Mortgage carrier steals interest. There is no easy way to request extra principle payments. They claim that it is not their policy to apply extra principle payments unless you tell them to each and every month. After they took over serviceing my mortgage from **** ** ******* they applied extra payments to future months, and when I called to request that they apply any additional payment above Monthly Principle, interest, and escrow payments they told me that it is not their policy to do that unless I tell them to do it ... read more

Andrew U***** was awesome to work with on my refi. The entire process happened in a timely fashion. Everything happened just as was explained to me during the process, and we actually closed in less than 30 days.

The reps I worked with found an intermediate refi option that enabled me to consolidate debts and reduce overall monthly payments even after numerous other lenders turned me down due to a short sale affecting my credit. Process was smooth and painless. Closing was fast. Reps were very friendly and helpful.

Carrington Mortgage Services is by far the most unethical mortgage company I have dealt with in my 35 years as a customer and of numerous banks and mortgage companies.

Have no idea how this company has a "A" review. I made my November payment and got a phone call saying my payment was past due. Check my bank account found the money had been taken out. So I called Carrington on November 26th and they said I would have to fax over all the information which I did. Then on December 3rd received a email from the credit company saying my score when from 712 to 620. I call Carrington back and they said that the fax was never received. Sent the fax again.
