Worst customer service ever!
Customer Service is some of the worst I have ever dealt with. Reps will literally argue with the customer over the phone. They have had my account locked since my other mortgage company transferred the loan to Carrington. I have made numerous attempts to make payment and they have reported payment as late to credit bureaus. How can a customer make a payment if you have the account locked? If you have any choice in the matter do not use this company!
This company is not professional at all. They all have attitudes and will laugh at your situation. I don't know how this business stay up and running. I asked to speak to upper management and they made every excuse I'm the book not to give me contact info. This company has all of our information and I'm concern it's in the hands of a scammer.
Worst company to finance a loan inconsistencies with request. After approving the loan they dragged on several things seem to be untrained underwriters making up things as they go. I have closed on two homes before this and never experienced the lack of caring for a customer as this company shows not to mention the invalid closing dates that caused my family to live in a hotel for 3 weeks n they still not doing anything. Carrington Mortgage took over my mortgage from **** ** ******* abruptly in March 2018. My credit score in March 2018 was around ***as we always pay our bills on time. I went to purchase a new car in June 2018 and was advised by the credit manager that my credit score has dropped to ***and needed a co-signer. Per my credit report, all of my creditors reported current, but Carrington Mortgage had not reported to the credit bureaus ANY of the 4 payments that we had made to them to date leaving a HUGE BLACK HOLE in my credit. Ben B**** and Thai D*** were an amazing team at Carrington ms in Anaheim, California. They worked quickly to get us a cash out refinance. They kept us well informed throughout the whole process. Any questions I had they answered quickly. I appreciate these two very much and would do it all over again. Thanks Carrington for sending us these two. It was an amazing learning experience.

My mortgage was bought buy Carrington mortgage services (CMS) from **** ** ******* in feb/mar. The escrow analysis was done incorrectly not once, but twice. The first time around some one from CMS placed an extra zero on a tax bill analysis so I had to pay more until this corrected. After the second analysis they left a tax bill off all together. At least now though my monthly payments are correct, even though I have to now pay that tax bill with out utilizing the escrow. Every time you call their customer service department... read more
