I wished I could post "NO STARS" the worst customer service ever! I hate that they have purchased my loan. The employees do not answer calls, return calls or respond to emails. Please get away from this company ASAP......I know I am trying!

Why is this company still in business? We were sold to them without any kind of warning and they have done nothing but make everything more difficult. Our mortgage just got lowered $800+ a month and they immediately increased it over $900 a month. We were just getting on our feet and they are trying to force us into a situation where we cannot afford to keep our house. They constantly give incorrect information and no one has answers to any of our questions. We constantly get transferred and never get answers.

Actually this company deserves a zero. They treat their customers like peseants who if they are having a financial hardship should be removed immediatley instead of working with and encouraging recovery.

Carrington is a horribly run company, with exceptionally rude customer service. I got stuck with them when my loan was sold. The customer service people won't help you without"requiring you social" for verification even after you enter it into the automated phone system. They will leave urgent sounding voice mail messages then take forever to return your call only to hear a sales pitch for a refi. I wish I still had chase.

Absolutely horrid! It took almost 14 weeks to do a simple refinance. They had 3 loan officer changes and last one has no kind of bedside manner, and to top it off when we said we were about done with dealing with all the hoops they made us jump through their response was "we can stop this process whenever you like" Are you kidding me?! It is my home, it is my family, it is my life. Don't ever try and do business with this company, go with quicken loans, rocket mortgage, a BANK, but don't go Carrington. Horrible scam of a company happily took my personal information Including my social security number... ran my credit not once but TWICE in a days timeframe completely falsified information and in writing changed stories more than once. Ryan DelToro is a liar, he disappeared days at a time. Mis led me completely and to return after weeks of silence to say my 620 FICO score is not eligible for a non prime loan and that he “forgot” to tell me. WHAT A SCAM. This company is so disorganized and there is a serious gap in communication among the various departments at Carrington. I have received numerous letters regarding my homeowner's insurance indicating Carrington purchased insurance for me despite me providing them with all of my current and valid homeowner's insurance information. How many times must we go over this? Oh and don't get me started on how long it takes them to cut you a refund check as well as their hideous customer service and telephone wait times. I have been a Carrington customer for years, so when it was time to buy a new home my first thought was it would be best to stay with the same company. However, my process has been nothing but horrifying and quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever received. When closing time came, I was told last minute that my husband would need a wet signature on some forms even though he was not on the loan.
