I sold a used car at CarMax. I got an online offer in five minutes. The offer was 50% more than three competitive offers, including the dealership (not CarMax) from that I was buying a new car. I went to the CarMax location the next day. I was in and out in about an hour with a check for the full amount of the offer. It was easy, quick, and painless. Great customer service!

The worst service ever! Im not sure if I should blame this store or the *** of this business for allowing this company to function the way that it does. My husband and I got approved online Monday, January 15, and asked for the express pick up and that was 3 days ago. NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT! If they called us it was because we call them to get answers. Our credit was pulled and was told we were approved and got the summary breakdown of the deal.....But no car...This is ridiculous! We have talked to over 7 REPRESENTATIVES....... read more

I purchase a $44k Audi A6 Prestige from these guys. The starter goes in 30 days which is not their fault but Audi has no loaners or plan. Tonight I walked 6 miles in $300 dress shoes because you gave me a POS ***** without snow tires. Treat your customers better or you wont have any.

I had purchased a 2014 ********** Jetta se from Carmax the next day after I took the car home the check engine light came on, and the mileage on the car jumped from 93k miles down to 14k miles I called Carmax to get the car serviced and they did just that at least I thought they did. I was told they put a new engine in the car and the car was driving good for a while until the radiator and camshaft position sensor needed fixed and that cost me $3,274 to get fixed and the car was working good until April of this year it start... read more

My star rating is -10 Do NOT and I mean Do NOT purchase a vehicle from Carmax in ******* ** on **********. We purchased ****************************************************** January. It has been there for 2 weeks and they gave ** a rental for one week. We have a trip to ******* for a work detail planned that we are supposed to be leaving before our car is out of the shop. And no one seems to be able to help, no loner, no more rental, no NOTHING. Please help and do not purchase a car from Carmax.

i bought a car a year ago through the CarMax in ******** **. they sent me a check a few weeks later because of over payment now they are calling me, A YEAR Later, wanting that money back.buyer beware

I traded my 2018 VW Tiguan and purchased a JX35 Infinity from CarMax. This car had ******* miles when I purchased this vehicle in July 2022. The care completely broke down do to transmission issues and is now inoperable. CarMax has had my *** for almost a week and is stating that they can't work on it until after Jan 10th which is costing me unnecessary money to travel daily. I purchased a vehicle from them in 2020 and made my monthly payments on time until May of ****************************************************** June I received a letter indicating the release of title and separately the title. In July I received a check for an overpayment. Coincidently in September I checked my credit score and realized the score had dramatically plunged. I was lied to by car max . They sold me a sonic Chevrolet and told me it was serviced . The car had a leak the first time I took it to car max and within a week after they fixed the car had another leak. Me . **** in service asked me to go to Chevrolet and pay a deductible. Chevrolet told me dont let CarMax fool me into paying them But bring it back to CarMax because its for a leak something CarMax didnt fix the first time .
