Unfortunately there is no half star here. But the current rating says a lot!Fraud company! I sent my final pay off check, they cashed the check and it got cleared. But they did not credit my account. This place has ripped me off, within the 1st 30 days my transmission went out and they claimed to have repaired it!! Truck is still dragging cant even pick up speed on the high to catch-up with the flow of traffic. The did an appraisal and they expect me to put another ***** down because they sold me a lemon!! I bought a car from them in December for 18 thousand dollars before warranty and other fees. It had small rock damage in a couple places that had been filled in with paint marker. I got an appraisal on april 30th, 2023 and they offered me ***** saying the damage and other things are there that i didnt have an issue with driving into the dealer. My son went to CarMax to buy a car. He wanted to obtain his own financing through the credit union he used to buy his car that is now a total loss. Since the gap insurance is taking so long to complete, he can't get a loan with them until the other loan is completed with the gap insurance company. So, they, CarMax, suggested he use their financing and then transfer over to his own credit union when it all was complete, free of charge. His credit union loan was at 6%. Saw a commercial that said, "Get a pre-qualification with no hit to your credit". NOT TRUE. I was bored one night, and wanted to check to see what kind of cars that I would get pre-qualified for. My credit score WAS 815, and with no inquiries on it for at least 2 years (the last inquiry was from when I financed my last new car). If I could leave a 0 star rating I would. I have spent weeks searching for a vehicle, I finally located one on the carmax website. However I wanted to see and drive the car before purchasing it. So there was a $99 transfer fee: of course before I spent money I wanted to be sure this car had all the features I wanted and make sure I was sure. Don't bother going on for a purchase appraisal based on *******. They have standard (false) reasons to knock the price down. I've experienced it twice now. This week's excuse was a "reweld" in a place my car has never been damaged (I bought it new, so I would know). I heard them use it on the people sitting just down from me too. You might not end up getting any more money from someone else, but at least you won't be rewarding their bait-and-switch dishonesty.
If You miss a payment their debt collection office will call you more than 7 times in 7 days and dont care about the law. They will even call you with in 7 days of talking to you and they only have options for aid or moving payments if you have paid 6 or more payments. Their *************** is a horrible company.
