In 1960 John Brann Sr. opened the first John Brann’s Steakhouse in Grand Rapids Michigan. This is where the famous Sizzling Steak got its beginning. John wanted to make sure that families could go out to eat and get a great meal at a great price. The idea caught on because they were selling 800 Sizzling Steak dinners on Saturday nights! WOW!

I remember the older Brann's,today's Brann's is too rushed,I found the waitstaff to hurried and the food not appetizing
Reserved their meeting room again for our quarterly meeting. As always, the room was prepared and ready for us. Service is excellent and prompt. Great choices for beverages and dinner. Manager Sue, is a delight to work with! We will be back. Kent County RLCA

Went last night for my grandsons first birthday, haven’t been to this location in quite some time, The restaurant was very busy which is typical for Saturday night. However my complaint is the service could have been. ALOT better!! It was slow, steaks had to be sent back because they were cooked improperly, prompting a longer wait for a party of nine,with 2 small children. I really think that the service gate been a lot better pretty unhappy with this location been coustmers for many years! Thanks :/
