Horrible customer service. Ive been a loyal BMW customer for last 18 years. Never had a problem till now. I will never lease or buy from BMW again. I leased 2018 X6M $116K MSRP for 36 months. 12 months and 8000 miles into the lease the brakes start squealing. A cringing high pitched squeal that you hear every you hit the brakes. I took it in for service and they told me that the squeal was "normal because it a performance vehicle" and to contact BMW NA and escalate the situation. Buyer Beware!!!! I have to say that I've had BMR's pretty much my whole life, loved 'em, but I never actually "bought one" (just leased) until I "bought" the BMR of my dreams, a 650i convertible. Well, I have to say that was the biggest mistake of my life!!!! If I would've known that after spending $100,000 on this car that immediately, once it was paid off, that everything would go wrong with it, I would have never bought it. DO NOT purchase a BMW. Terrible customer experience not only with the vehicle itself, but their customer relations is lacking. I currently have a 2017 BMW X5 edrive with airbag/seatbelt restraint malfunctions and drivetrain malfunctions which caused my vehicle to shutoff while driving down the interstate. After 5 trips for repair totaling 2 months without the vehicle, BMW USA has done nothing to remediate the problem except offering to give me a 'customer loyalty goodwill' that would still cost me out of pocket to purchase a... read more

On 03/01/19 I picked up my 2015 Mini S that was in for a tiny coolant leak repair at Mini of Marin, Ca. I bought the car from a Mini dealership just last year with around 16k miles on it. The dealership said all maintenance work had already been done. The leak repair was discussed with a service writer, Orlando, over the phone and an appointment was made for the leak only. BMW USA harassed and threatened to repo my vehicle for nonpayment just days ago. I sent payment NOVEMBER 5, 2018 to cover 2 months of payment and these crooks NEVER credited my account. When any financial institution calls a consumer threatening repossession, I don’t care who you are, you’re gonna panick naturally. I took the money I had for my kid’s preschool to pay them this month while the entire time, they NEVER credited my account the $1700 I paid back in NOVEMBER last year!!!
