I purchased a lightly used 2020 BMW ****rr motorcycle in Oct. 2021. Early May, the beginning of the riding season in the Northeast, an engine malfunction presented severe damage. The bike has been at a local BMW dealership for approximately two months. The engine is warrantied, and Ive been assured repairs are covered. Ive reached out to BMW Of North America multiple times. The dealership has been very informative and communicated BMW are going to fix the bike, but have not provided a date to allow the dealership to complete ... read more

I have reached out 4 times to this joke of a "Customer Relations Department" via the BMW corporate website. I received 2 canned responses from "******" and "****" stating I could respond in detail via email regarding my issue with my local dealer. 4 days later, no response to multiple follow-up messages. Dealer claimed the hood on our 2011 335i "flew open during a test drive". It was in body shop for 45 days (3rd party) Never heard from dealer during that time. Excuse for hood flying open was "a tiny plastic cap they found i... read more

I purchased a CPO from Prestige BMW in ****** ** for $37k in 2016, car had only $42k miles. *** in 2022, Ive racked up over $25k in repairs. Last week they charged $6,500 to just change out the failing air suspension and shocks, only on the back. Then the car error codes again, and they tell me another $4,300, but are willing to give me a brake for only $2,700. Thats almost $10k in repairs for a suspension and a few other minor items. Had I know that I was going to get price gouged with their misdiagnosis, on a car with a $1... read more

Purchased 2019 BMW X7 on 12/13/2019 from BMW of ******. I had purchased another car from them and had no issue. We decided to move to ***************, ***** to put our kids in private school and because it was a good move for our family. We paid, in our contract with BMW, for all future maintenance required on the vehicle, the *** tire and wheel policy that covers our very expensive tires and wheels, and a windshield policy. We moved to ***************, ***** (roughly 2.5 hours away), and they had a service staff member lie ... read more

Me and my wife bought a 2015 BMW 328xDrive very low mileage and well within 7 years/70,000 miles of engine component/engine warranty. TIMELINE: Purchased car May 7, 2021. Put approximately 1k miles on vehicle. On June 25, 2021 motor blows up due to failure of timing chain or its components. Car has been sitting in my garage most of the time and is sitting in garage now broken. BMW refuses to inspect, acknowledge, repair or replace the engine component/engine under warranty coverage of 7 years/70,000 miles on N20-N26 Engines.... read more

I recently brought my BMW 335i GT for a tire repair at Crown BMW in **********. I was told my rim was "bent" and needed to be replaced. I was not shown the actual claimed bent on my rim until I asked. When they finally showed it to me there was no visible bent on the edges of the rim to cause air leak BUT there was a tare on the tire. The quoted me a new rim plus all 4 new tires for $2200 and recommended I fix it asap. The service advisor ************************* did not see the claimed bent before suggesting such service u... read more

I had an issue with one of the dealerships. I reached out to their corporate customer relations team to rectify the issue (considering I will not be going back to the dealership where the issue occurred). The relations team did not rectify the situation. Very upset with corporate.

BMW North America is a terrible company they do not care about any of their customers does it matter if we’re paying a higher amount for a luxury vehicle they treat you like dirt! My AC in my vehicle didn’t work for two months I complained about the local dealership and they did nothing to try and rectify the situation no wonder the local dealership ask as they do it come straight from BMW North America. Definitely buy a different luxury vehicle!!!!!
