My BMW 535i has 74k miles on it & experienced complete engine failure. Cost of the repair is $30k but the dealer is willing to give me $500 on a trade in. Low mileage engine failure seems to be a reoccurring issue with BMW..buyer beware you may spend $80k on a car that is worthless in a short period of time. Maybe its time for a class action lawyer to take up this issue?

I am the owner of a 2022 M340, I bought the car about 12 months ago brand new. I do alot of driving for work and up until now have been very pleased with BMW. THIS TIME WAS VERY DIFFERENT. A year ago, I bought a 2020 BMW X5 and last December, 7 months after I have bought the car, after a heavy rain, the entire console compartment flooded. The cups compartment was full of water and so was the wood on the console. The parts around the lights on the roof ended up falling apart, because of the water deposited on them. I took it to the dealer, certain that it would be in the warranty, since I have had the car just for a few months. Recently bought a cpo 2020 750i. CPO vehicles get a 20 min minimum road test before certification. On the cpo paperwork there was nothing documented regarding brake noise. I test drove the vehicle but for only maybe a 5 or 8 min short drive around the dealership location. Once I took the car home on a 20+ minute drive and got into my neighborhood is when the brakes started squeeling loud when stopping at slower speeds. BMW knows of a recurrent issue with their 528i sedans developing condensation in the headlights leading to erosion of the headlight module. This issue is due to a manufacturer defect and they have done NOTHING about it. To fix this issue cost THOUSANDS of dollars and is only a temporary fix. Something need to be done about this
