I normally have no problem using my coupons I receive on line. Today I try and purchase 2 items for approximately $11.99/each before taxes. My coupon is for $10 off $20 or more. My total comes up over $20.00. I ask the employee why wasn't my discount taken and his reply: "The manager said they been having problems and they aren't able to do anything about it". Really? That's why no one shops here amymore.

I was told by a friend I should shop here because I would get "points" and save money. I'd also get emails regarding sales and promotions. NOT!! I've spoken to the manager at the ********, ** store several times and never has my lack of emails and information regarding my "points" ever been resolved. Why bother shopping here? I get irritated every time they ask for my phone number to give me my "points!"

I ordered my very first couch through Big Lots because they had a great deal, and I have a tight budget. I tacked on the $149 BIG Delivery fee, even though my couch was only $299, because I don't have a truck. I ordered on June 23, 2022. When I placed my order, it said they'd be in contact with me in **** days to schedule delivery. I chatted and they said they were experiencing delays and that they changed it to 4-6 weeks. I purchased a living room set and used 2 credit cards to do so. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the order as the dimensions to the couch would not fit the doorway. Well the assistant manager ****, made an error crediting my cards, he put the wrong amount for the credit in the wrong card. He is very unprofessional and unapologetic about his mistake. I purchased a sofa online and its been a nightmare. I call to cancel my sofa and they give me the run around. They claim a sup will call me and sup never calls me. They never fulfill my request. I have waited months on a sofa they then ordered a replacement sofa without my permission because the first order had gotten lost. So I called again to cancel and miraculously they claim my sofa is at their warehouse. I call the warehouse as instructed to schedule a delivery and the warehouse knows no such thing. Store associates as well as online ordering also including customer service department. Not one area of Big Lots employees have been of any help. Shopping online looking for specific items in store near my area only to waste my time and fuel traveling to the store and the item not being there. To further aggravate the situation, tried using same day delivery and after my order was bought and paid for waiting for delivery am I informed that its no longer available. Foreign **************************** Cant comprehend SKU # wrong online. I received an item with correct sku but wrong color. Bar code is built into packaging (not a sticker) Rep ***** understand and kept saying they could resend the item. After I gave several examples he finally said OK I understand, hold on while I process escalation. I was on hold for 10 min and hung up. **************** is a loss cause

False Advertising. Tried to purchase a inflatable water slide in the store. Told it was at another store. Drove 45 mins. to the store and item was not there. Store had another slide half the size of the one i was looking for the same price. Both the slide and the smaller one had the same SKU number. I contacted BIG LOTS 3 different times by e-mail. Every time I shop there I am basically made to feel like they don't want to sell items, today white guy gestures at me repeatedly. Overheard or on speakerphone I was threatened. Amazing, Nice guy at register tho.
