After being followed within the store, receipt snatched from hand after refusing to purchase items from a business who employs individuals who are rude to customers and disrespectfully calling me a "*****". I hate that I am even spending 5 minutes of my precious time writing this review but Big Lots and their delivery company "Pilot" are disgrace!! I've received literally 6 different emails with delivery dates for the same furniture and it has not come. Everytime we call we get routed to different people with the same "oh no that's weird. We see it's coming on xx date" (which is yet another "accidental" delivery date). "We will need to communicate with pilot"..calls back, gives us another false delivery date. Just seen charges on my bank statement from Biglots.com which are not mine because I don't shop at biglots online. So I contacted there customer support team only to be told there was nothing they could do. Check with the bank and see if they can do anything. Im totally floored that there fraud department can't look into this and help in anyway.
Despite several attempts at getting proper customer service, this company has failed at assisting me with receiving information about my recent order and delivery.
Ordered a couch from a local store with "next day delivery." When given the options, we chose a few days out to give us time to sell our furniture. Our delivery day comes around and no one calls or shows up from the very wide 1-5pm window. After speaking with the "delivery service" we were told that a name was on our couch which was a good sign we may get our delivery at some point that evening. Terrible experience. I bought a complete living room set, I paid $1500 and was supposed to have it same day delivery. But since I ordered late last night it was supposed to be delivered today. I received three text messages telling me that it was being prepared and ready to be on its way. So I got rid of my existing furniture 30 minutes before the delivery time window started. I'm HIGHLY disappointed in Big Lots and I haven't even made a purchase yet!!! They misrepresented themselves and how their credit card. The only reason I signed up for a card was based on what I read on their site which, after being run around through numerous customer service reps, is apparently NOT true. FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM BIG LOTS IF YOU WANT IT TO LAST MORE THAN 3 MONTHS! *I Would absolutely give 0 stars if I could!* I bought a sectional couch from Big Lots approximately 3 months ago. On 2/3/2021 i made an Online purchase via a representative. My total purchase including the $40.32 in coupon discount was $71.67. Without the $40.32 my receipt indicated $111.99 The $71.67 was then credited back to my credit card shortly thereafter. I called to inquire why it was credited and was advised that they will charge me the items individually, the reason being, this is how they charge all items prior to shipment and once all items are delivered I would then be charged the $71.67 which would be reflected within 3-5 d... read more
