I ordered a sofa, last week sometime and was not made aware of the fact that it would take 4-8 weeks to receive my purchase. I have contact Big Lots customer service line multiple times and continue to be transferred to a department who supposedly returns the funds to customers payment methods. Instead I sit on hold over 2 1/2 hours and no one answers I AM OVER IT! Would not recommend purchasing of furniture from an establishment who makes it impossible to speak to someone! I want my money back

If I could give 0 stars I would. Got a couch and found it was damaged when I got home putting together. They didn’t want to help me with fixing the furniture or replacing it. They said they could credit me some money so I could fix the cut myself even thought it was a 1 year manufacturing warranty. The Newark location store manager was very rude and accused me of damaging the item when it left the store. If I could I would give this the store zero stars.Our first and second time going to this store was the worst. The first time trip to the we was followed by employee of the store while we was trying to shop. So when we paid for our stuff they was looking crazy. Now on the second trip I walk in then my brother walk in after me. Big lots is Big Joke So disappointed. No wonder the company had a 2.3 out of 5. That is a failing grade ! Today I had that experience. A company should not advertise a big Memorial Day Weekend sale if you don’t have the product. That is false advertising. I was told it was the nature of their business when I purchased an item online and was later told it was not available anywhere in the US. Are you kidding me ? If I could leave 0 stars I would. Dealing with this company has been an absolute nightmare. I placed and order on March 24,2021 for a Sealy king size mattress, a king size bed frame and a sectional sofa. The nightmare began when I received multiple calls from multiple places (Geneva branch, Syracuse branch and the Albany branch after being very specific that delivery was needed for May 3,2021. I went to Big Lots store at 5055 Austell Road, Austell, GA 30106 to make a purchase. The Customer Service I received by the Store Manager, Carlos, was horrific. Carlos had an authoritative disposition. I felt this was unacceptable and discreditable to me as a longtime customer. I deserve better respect as a longtime customer with Big Lots. So I got here at 8:55 pm on a sunday because I had to get some ibuprofen for my wife wasn't feeling well. They had already locked the doors when they close at 9. As the manager let a customer out I mention to him that I guess my clock must be broken because I have 8:55 and you guys close at 9 and he said I guess so. Even after I said I just wanted to get some ibuprofen real quick for my wife it still didn't seem to bother him and he just said he has to get his cashier out of here. I placed an online order for $601.95. At that time they ran a pre-authorization on my card holding those funds. Six days later they ran a second pre-authorization for $601.95 and the first one had not fallen off my account at that time so now they have $1203.90 of my money on hold. I called 2 days in a row to only be lied to and transferred to 4 different people because it was not their job to help me.
