I bought a dbl recliner back in June. 25 days later the foot rest had springs to pop loose, the left side started to rub wood to wood, and the wood under the seat poked up. I called the store and was told I had 5 days. My receipts were lost. My fault. I called the store soooo many times and had to deal with the manager who is terrible. Do not buy furniture from Big Lots! I took off two days for delivery and they were a no show both times. Customer service is non existent and now I’m forced to take them to small claims court. Stay FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. I bought a sofa online and paid 95.00 for next day delivery, twice they didn’t show up and cost me two days pay, customer service was non existent and I still haven’t been refunded. I need reimbursement for two days of lost wages.

I would like to file a formal complaint on Big Lots employee, *****, a Furniture Lead, at store ***** ** ******* *** On 1/16/21, I purchased several items at the store. Upon returning home, I looked closer at the receipt and noticed that I was charged the wrong amount for 2 items that were on clearance. I was charged $3 each, when it should have been $1.50. -MINUS 5 STARS Website said everything was in stock so I placed the order Dec. 20 for pickup. Shortly afterwards they emailed and said they cancelled my order because NOTHING was in stock... ok that's fine I thought... UNTIL I realized they went ahead and charged my card for the cancelled order. I ordered 2 pieces of furniture after placing the order over the phone with sales for an in-store pickup 8 miles further than my closest store and was assurred the items were reserved ... later my order got cancelled. I almost gave away my old furniture, but I was suspicious. Before that, another order (same items) sent me an email to come pick up, but later saw one item was cancelled. Online order attempt processed credit card during purchase, prior to clicking complete order button, stated my card was declined, then charged my credit card 2 times. Thinking I input card number wrong, done again, and again charged card twice, stated card was declined, when I have $20,000 credit available. No order ever went through. Two different 25 minute calls to customer service were left on hold, online chat useless. Curious how many people will have to fight to get charges on card dropped.
