We l went in shopping this past weekend. The store was absolutely filthy. There was debris in the isles, merchandise sitting on the floor, that should have clearly been on a shelf. We looked around for a manager, with none to be found. Whwn we checked out we asked to speak to the store manager, and was told she wasn't there, and they didn't know when she would be back because they hadn't seen her in a few days. I purchased a mattress in a box online and did a store pick up at the North Augusta, SC location. A day later, I found the size mattress I had initially wanted at another Big Lots. I asked that store if I could return the first. They said yes, I just had to take it to the store I purchased it. I took the first mattress along with my receipt to the store I purchased it. Within just over a month of normal use our recliner broke, the frame is bent and it doesn’t recline at all, the handle detached from the recliner mechanism. Complete scam

Placed online order, had to cancel, wrong color, reordered within minutes, called to cancel, got reference number, still shipped product, charged me twice, I am responsible for returning item, even though I cancelled PRIOR to shipment. This is FRAUD.

False advertising for same day delivery. I was charged $99 for "same day" delivery but the item wasn't available for delivery until 2 days later. The item never showed up on the scheduled delivery date due to delays and Big Lots cancelled the order because it wasn't picked up.

When walking into Big Lots @ 11672 E. Colonial Dr. 32817 today about 10 am is was sweltering HOT I ask the Lady at the register was the AC Broken she stated Yes for weeks although she did state AC was fixed but broke again. As I proceeded to try & shop I felt as if I would pass out being it was that HOT < I decided to leave store being I could barely walk aisles & breathe at the same time. Do not use their online ordering. Worse experience ever! They took my money from my account, I called my bank and got verification but when I call big lots they say I don’t have an order. And nobody wants to help me figure this out. They just keep telling me to call my bank. Now it’s a holiday weekend and they just ruined it for my children. I have no pool which is what I ordered and no not much money cuz they haven’t returned it. Not a good place at all!!! Very disappointed. They price their items online as 5% off. They don’t offer in store pick and only delivery so they can recharge you the 5% for a “handling fee”. Now if they offered in store or delivery. I can understand. They only offer delivery so they can charge that 5% back to the customer putting the price of the item at its original amount. That’s manipulative and false advertising. All one stars that Big Lots CO has, tells me I’m not the only customer they have done this to.

Horrible Horrible Horrible. I placed an order incorrectly FIVE minutes after placing it and was told they weren't able to adjust my address and that they could process a cancelation on the 14th. On the 16th, I received a text messaging saying my order had shipped! To the wrong address despite me telling them over and over again that I had made an error.
