I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life. I went in with trouble breathing, tightness and pain in my chest and neck. All symptoms of a heart attack. From the second I walked in the door the intake nurse acted as if I was a bother to her. And it didn't stop there. The doctor I saw was extremely rude, hardly listened to what was wrong, and acted as if I was a bother to her as well. The xray tech was friendly enough but still rude. Beth Israel has been apart of my life for over 35 years. Recently a loved one had a hospital stay at 16th street on 2nd ave., and we were treated well
48 hours in a hallway with my 86 year old mom. She was completely ignored no meds or food. I had to give her meds that I snuck in. And bought food from outside. She was in a room when she first got there why they moved her to a hallway and put someone else is beyond me! I would love to know the reason ? Can anyone respond to this neglect! Only when I lost my mind did she have her vitals checked and I was asked to go over meds. My mom has been in the ER for two days without her meds! We keep asking for it we get no answers! Thank god we have them for her! She fractured her hip we have to fight for pain meds! Don’t go there! Worst hospital!
