A janitorial staff stay in the Hospice unit watching tv and talking loudly on the phone for hours. This is unacceptable and disrespectful to the family member!

My experience is usually better at the pediatrics unit in the emergency room... they where very busy yesterday and also very smug with me and my husband.. we where there with our son to be checked for asthma.. they saw him quickly and when going to discharge that is when the problem aroused, we where there for 6hrs waiting to get the discharge paper even after he was cleared.. very dissapointed.. they should have a larger staff on busier days like the weekend.. this was your 1st and hopefully last experience like this.. over... read more

I was misled by a non-doctor after three doctors had agreed on what my emergency treatment should be and they refused to allow or inform MY pulmonary doctor of my being in the hospital. The staff also refused to allow me to speak with a person employed in a supervisory or management position. YES refused. But they did call a guard who OF course knew nothing about medicine.

I met the most wonderful sports medicine physician there yesterday in 10 Union Square . His name was Dr. Vladimir Shur . I'm looking forward to seeing him again . Great man that gave me excellent advice and care . I ran on my knee this morning and it felt excellent . Looking forward to my next visit . I'd give you a 10 star rating ,but only 5 is max . I can't thank him enough . The attention and care that he and his assistant gave me were phenomenal .
