I went into the ER at Mt Sinai Queens and ended up needing emergency surgery. The surgery went well, but there were complications and I was in the hospital for about a week total. I had an excellent team of nurses during my time there, including Irene and Marion in the OR Recovery, Vicki, Nezle, Emmy, Tania, and Leela on 4th floor East, and Wendy, Raj, Devi, and Chris in the Intermediate Care Unit. The care I received greatly aided my recovery and I would recommend this hospital.

Excellent staff! Doctors and nurses immediately took care of my mom. After visiting two hospitals previously they knew immediately what to give her. She’s already feeling good! God bless these people!

The staff at least on G wing are lazy and unprofessional. alarms go off and they either walk by or at the desk sitting. There is no continuity of care at all. Everybody seems to believe it's someone else's job to do the simplest thing. Bring your family if you want any help, if you have no family go to Mercy Hospital.
