Maybe a new hospital from the outside, but from the inside it's still Astoria General.
This HOSPITAL KILLED MY MOTHER! THIS PLACE NEGLECTED MY MOTHER AND HER NEEDS!! SHE HAD A HEART ATTACK LAST SATURDAY, AND SHE DIED THURSDAY AFTER THEY DISCHARGE HER! I FUCKING HATE THIS PLACE AND SO DID MY MOTHER! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!
If I could give this hostipal a 0 I would. I was there two times in two days. The second day people were only nice to me because I complained via survey. Then as soon as the shift changed at 7 the nurse that came in was horrible. So rude and lied to me. Will not be going back to this location. It’s a shame because the one in manhattan is pretty amazing.
Waited for 6+ hrs. just to be released without any sort of treatment. Bedside manners and patient care were lacking professionalism. The doctor pretended as if he was listening - he was not. Asked if i'd taken xxx brand of meds 2 minutes after i told him I took it twice. This place is awful.
SNCH should remain being a magnet hospital! I have been in the hospital for almost a month and ALL of the nurses and health care professionals took care of me with complete care and compassion. They all demonstrated excellent teamwork abilities and were respectful to their coworkers and toward my family and I. Maybe give me an ample parking for your visitors, You wouldn’t have to drive around for 20 minutes looking for a parking spot then to go to valet to sit there for 10 minutes to find out that the valet is full and they cannot park your car then to go park in a spot to get a ticket on your car because there’s signs everywhere along the hospital that you cannot park when there’s no spots available for you to park in because everything is filled because there’s not enough spots to !
