I worked there for 5 yrs. it's a great place in a great location right near Greenwich Village.
ok orhopedist, but real crap service for $350/15 min appt and zero explanation as to charges. See my other review for false HIPAA compliance BS they foist on you to try to convince you you need to go see your ortho to get MRI results which could easily be given by phone (outright lies and the result is people w injuries forced to make unnecessary trips which subjects them to all sorts of difficulties). In sum, avoid these people.
I have been a part of the Beth Israel Health system for several years. The care is excellent. My Internist, Dr. John Chuey is fantastic and has been so pro-active that I get the best care available for any conditions so far. I have no need to go elsewhere for my health needs. I would recommend the hospital, ambulatory care and 23rd Street office to any of my friends and family for care.
Dr. Virzi is an outstanding cardiologist! He has managed my health concerns for years! Wish I can say the same about the Reception Desk. Poor service. Always put on hold for a long time when you call, too long that the system disconnects your call after a long wait. Test results are not promptly communicated. I have to call several times to follow up. This type of service hurts your practice, 55 E 34th St.

Awesome I'm not sick anymore
I was just in Beth Israel for appendicitis. The staff was amazing: Dr Marc Feldberbaum in the ER had the best bed side manner (he was so cool I wanna hang out with him LOL!) all the nurses: Beth, Adlin…. WOW! The room, the entire staff was awesome I highly recommend this hospital to anyone. Thanks Beth Israel!
I went there Sunday night cause I wasn't feeling well having a lot of stomach pain only thing they did is give me is medication then I went home and hour later the pain came back went back to the hospital and they asked me if I was drinking I told them I do not drink they looked at me like I was lying as soon as they gave me more medication they decide to give me a sonogram of my gallbladder I cannot believe they took a long time figuring out what the hell is wrong with me
One of the reasons why I don't like to get care here at Beth Israel (even if I am an employee of the hospital) is the service or I should say LACK OF IT!!!!! I had a 10am appt @ PACC and I'm still sitting here waiting to be seen. I could really image how the patients feel.
Your staff for all your specialists couldn't be more incompetent or any bigger pieces of pure scum shit. I have never had any medical problem more prolonged and stressful than the one I decided to treat in the BIMC system.
