Augustine is the BEST – I've now been to the Phoenix twice. First time was about a year go when I threw my back out, my mother in law had a gift card that she said I could use to see if a massage would help. Boy did it ever. Augustine was outstanding. I have been going to Carlos at the Phoenix Salon and Spa for almost a year now and have never left disappointed. Carlos listens to what I'm looking for in my hair cut and executes it perfectly every time. I am a wash-and-go kind of girl and he always cuts my hair to accommodate this. He's also helpful in giving me styling tips that are easy to follow and good advice on what products are right for my hair. The staff at the Phoenix salon is very friendly and makes your overall experience at the salon very enjoyable.

I have been going to Jennie Tamulis at the Phoenix Salon & Spa since the day they opened. She is truly gifted! I do not and will not trust anyone else with my hair!!!! She does amazing color and cuts that truly flater your face. I travel all the way from Red Bank NJ just to see her. I highly recommend Jennie to anyone wanting to look their best!!!!!!!

Bruce and Ashley are sensational – I have been going to Bruce since 1995 for my hair coloring and highlights. He is the only person that I trust with my hair. I have been going to the Phoenix Salon and Spa for over 2 years and the experience is always very professional and curteous. They offer you coffee and cookies as soon as you walk in the door! Carlos did a great job on my hair! – I got my hair cut one week ago by Carlos and purposefully waited to write this review. So many hairdressers can cut your hair and finish it and it looks amazing in the salon but when you try it yourself its a flop. Not the case with this haircut! The cut works with my waves and Carlos showed me a simply way to dry and style it. It literally takes me 5 minutes in the morning. I am so happy and bet you will be too.

Bruce and Ashley are Fantastic – I recently moved to Philly from Manhattan. I have complicated hair in that it is LONG, FULL, DYED, GREY ROOTS, and has previously been treated with about everything you can think of - - - brazilian straightening, japanese straightening, highlights, low-lights, boxed dye, etc. I went to Bruce who was well recommended to me and said "help". My Favorite Place – I've been going here for over 4 years and would not consider going anywhere else. Jackie takes care of my hair and every time she does, I come away feeling like a whole new person. My hair actually looks healthier than it did when I started going to her. I also have to rave about Augustine's massages. He does wonders with tired shoulder, neck and arm muscles from too many hours in front of a computer. Deep Tissue Massage – This was THE best massage I've ever received. The technician used accupressure technique that was just excellent. I had more range of motion and was very relaxed upon completion. The spa decor is beautiful! Augustine is the BEST!! I can't wait to go again in a couple weeks.

Outstanding Spa – I have been going to the Phoenix Salon and Spa for haircuts for about one year. Carlos is excellent and very personable. I also recently received a great massage from Augustine. The staff is very capable and professional. Top shelf!!
