I have a account with bbva compass a business account .I am just getting my business started and it as been a nightmare dealing with them.Money that was deposited for my start up has been frozen for over 3weeks.The customer service rep named Ms.D**** has not been helpful at all she gives me dry conversation when I am asking her about my account the only thing I keep hearing is she is waiting on the other bank to verify funds.This is a bank ..... Called today to simply ask a question about my Transfer daily limit and why it is all of the sudden limited to only a 1000. CRS who right off the back did not know what answer to give me. Tried to guess her way through messing up my account and locking my bank funds up for 24 hours. changed my settings and removed all my info from my account. I asked to speak with her supervisor. Opened an account online in January '18. Used a debit card from another bank to fund the account. The next day BBVA double dipped in the account taking a total of two (2) withdrawals while only crediting one (1) to the new account. I called BBVA as soon as I learned of the mistake. After waiting 40 mins to speak with a representative I was told that only one transaction showed on their system and I would need to contact the other bank to file a dispute. I'm on a merry go around with the online various customer service people that keep replying. No one reads what I am saying. I am a US Citizen and an overseas customer, do not now have an address in the US, no family in the US. I have a small account that I opened to leave money in the states. Last year my account was deemed inactive and I went through quite a performance to get it active. This bank is terrible. They manipulate the system in order to charge fees. I had enough money to cover charges but they said "unseen" authorizations came through at the same time and took the money but they charged me for both charges! How can you hold the money for one charge and say it made the other one bounce but then charge me an overdraft fee for BOTH. They did this to me twice and wouldn't reverse the fees. How can I budget correctly if there are "unseen" authorizations? I should be able to see all transactions right ... read more

My Checking and Savings account were both closed without prior notice or even a courtesy call. I found out because I was trying to use my debit card to pay for my lunch and it did not go trough. I called the bank and then was told it was closed- No reason as to why it was closed. Till this day I am still trying to get a solid answer as to why it was closed. I have never in my life dealt with a company as unprofessional and poorly run as this bank. I have a car loan with them and I have spent at least 4 hours, on 4 different occasions to attempt to sign on to online banking and go paperless. No one there in their technical support has a clue about anything. I will change my loan as soon as I can and would not put a nickle of my money in this bank,

I was hit with three overdraft fees this morning despite having plenty of money in my account to cover all withdrawals. When I contacted customer service, they had completely different numbers than I had on my online statement. I pointed out that when those three bills were paid, I had made deposits and transferred money into my checking account so that I had a cushion. Ive Mentioned to several bank employees and it hasnt been fixed yet so here i am and Yea your bbva app has adware and every time i update after removing the adware the update to the bbva app gets re-infected with new adware , this is so insecure ,and my phone antivirus knows its coming from your app and its happed like every month and i have to go to the bank and reauthorize login because after the antivirus removes the ad ware pop up **** in your software it removes log in credentials and really your not doing me a favor by... read more
