This is the most Stupid bank I have ever seen , I have a safe deposit locker , Business account and Personal account with them , after 6 months of opening the bank account , one fine day the bank has decided to close my account . Simply opened a plain ole checking account for convenience of having online banking. What a huge mistake. Treated with no respect, had to deal what was probably the most incompetent employee in the company, Luis R*****, and threatened by this low level jerk. They are giving out incorrect information and do nothing but give customers the runaround. You should really check out the visitor posts to their Facebook page. Today is January 15th and I get paid on the 15th and 30th of every month. Today is the 15th and my check still has not posted and it is now 1:00 PM Central Standard Time. AT this point I call the customer service number and I was told by the representative that since it was a holiday and the bank was closed, my check was scheduled to post on tomorrow (1/16/2018). BBVA is using an incorrect name on my account, seemingly to cause my transfer requests to be denied. This has happened before years in the past and I have resolved the issue multiple times. Compass sent me a credit card in the mail I acctivated thinking it was a debit card. When I realized what happened they told me I had to pay 100% of the fees and interest. I was told that the card I received in November was applied for in May!? These deceptive practices/fraud is why I am leaving after 16 years with them.

I have had a credit card with this company for less then a year and not happy with their customer service. I call and it always says they are "experiencing system issue and hangs up!!!!" what company does this? paying it off and will tell all others do not do business with this company.
Extremely unprofessional, if you late with your payment they will call you 20 times per day, but if you need to make a payment, they don't answer. So far I'm 1 hour on the phone and no one has answered yet, i requested a callback 5 hours ago, no one has called as well.... one callback did come through but they hang up on me immediately. Disturbingly horrible service

I have been a customer of BBVA Compass for nearly 10 years. I frequently use the app and the online banking with both services being excellent. The problem with BBVA is their hidden fees. I elected the "go green" option via the app which typically means no paper statements. BBVA charges a minimum of 3.00 US dollars for paper statements. In a year, that's 36 dollars annually to receive a paper statement when I can just access my account via app and online.
