Was forced to come here instead of Gulf Coast by a doctor. Been sitting in admissions waiting for someone to transport my mother-in-law to her room for over 2 hours now! If I could give negative stars, I would!!!!
The ER at Bay Med is NASTY! On a recent visit, which was a first for my husband we were appalled at the filth in the ER room he was assigned. Not being people who visit emergency rooms often, I am confident that they should not have goo oozing from under the baseboards. We arrived at 3:30 pm and he was discharged at 11pm. In between he might have had a total of 3hrs care. Which included being given a general anesthesia for a procedure and recovery time. I will reconsider when choosing an ER again. If I could give it no stars I would. My little girl 9 months old had a 105 temp. I was there from 9pm to 5am and didn't see a Dr. Had to walk out and take her somewhere else. NEVER GOING BACK. ITS a dirty place to start with. Really discussed and disappointed
I used to work here. And a lot of the nurses and cna's looked like they didn't give a crap about their patients. I'd walk by with them screaming for help and no one would come. And the ER is terrible one nurse was not gentle putting a wrapping around my hubbys head when it had a gash in it! We were there like 6 hours just for him to get some staples in his head. And they do nothing for EVS who a lot of them kill themselves for this place, like I did I was so overwhelmed with my job I had to leave.
I was visiting PCB for my daughters softball tournament. I had been having chest pains, thinking it was acid reflux. I showed up at the ER and was immediately taken back, after some lab work and MRI, was told I needed a heart cath. During the heart cath, I was told I was having a heart attack and had 100% blockage and would need a stint. I was very impressed with the staff and physicians at this hospital. Yes I've had first surgery today in over 32 years, they shoved defillbilator down my chest with much pain, I'm now all comfy in a room but pain is intolerable and guess what all I can have is a 5 mg loratab ! Really? You are charging me 1000s of dollars but you won't make the pain go away!! Something is wrong with this!! If I had know I would have got some and brought them! This is not right people!! I hope I never ever come back but if I do I'll be ready next time!!
This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. The nurses are so rude and we have been here 3 hours and still haven't seen a doctor. I'm glad my mom wasn't dying
I know they're over worked and under paid have some compassion for the sick n the families. Been here almost an hour still no one came in. My mom just got outta here two weeks ago. They sent her home with a cathitor and told me to get a urologist to take it out. None here n bay co. Will take her insurance. They r rude and make fun of patients here who r hurting. Its unprofessional.
Their people are so rude.. the left a cord on my 1 year toe.. do u realize that is a choking or strangling hazard.. well the should.. but no the look at me like I was stupid for taking it off and leaving. I will never step foot back in that Hospital
