Well just went up to the hospital BAY MEDICAL. Discusting! My 88 year old dad is here because his doctor wanted him to be taken care of in a healthy safe environment. Well, I'm here to tell you he is not in a safe environment at all. My husband had come home after he was admitted and put on a room on the 2nd floor wing. 2 hours later I came up to see how he was doing. Went to gulf coast first because it was supposed to be better. After waiting 2 hours in the ER waiting room after an vehicle accident and being treated like trash I went to Bay and was back in a room in less than 5 minutes. People were a lot nicer too.
Waiting for too long with my son who has chest pains and high blood pressure. Really?

Bay medical is a Damn joke of a hospital. You have the facility, but because they only see about 4 incidents per year you choose too refuse treatment to a person who needs it. forcing then them to drive almost 3 hours to the west " Diver denied use of medical decompression chamber for decompression sickness" way to go Bay Medical.. you thumbs down above the rest
This is despicable! See story on WJHG about "Diver Denied Treatment For Decompression Sickness" change your policy. If you have the ability to treat, you should. Just because you only get about 4 cases a year is no reason to risk someones life.
