Our most recent encounter was two weeks ago when we took our retriever in to have a mole looked at, which was on his eyelid and was growing. The Doctor recommended a routine (low cost) surgical procedure to remove the mole and adjacent cyst. The next day the procedure was performed and our dog is now doing fine and is completely healed with no issues whatsoever. We began using Bay Cities Animal Hospital two years ago when one of our cats had an infection resulting from what appeared to be a fight with another cat. We were referred to Bay Cities by the SPCA in Dublin after getting outrageous estimates from other vets in the area. We found Dr. Cellu Dhawan to be a compassionate vet with only our pet's best interest in mind, offering alternative treatment options, as opposed to other vets who never seem to offer any solutions at a reasonable cost!
My experience with Dr. Dhawan, Bobby and Alberto (Vet assts) has been very positive. Two years ago I was recommended To Bay Cities by a friend and since then I have recommended them to my neighbors who also have received excellent care and have thanked me for the recommendation. I drive from Berkeley to Hayward to have my 17yr old dog cared for by Celu. She is an amazing and beyond hard working person. I have had my dog since 3months so he is my child and I would not have anyone else care for him. The prices you cannot beat and the professionalism that comes with it is amazing.
I have not had a bad experience here and I trust the staff and doctor full heartedly with the care of my pets. I am always treated respectfully and the doctor provides honest and professional advice. I will continue to come here.
