One of my babies (Reese) has had two major surgeries (she's accident prone) and not only has she recovered beautifully, but the cost was a fraction to other vets. I spent more in the emergency vet where she was for only 45 minutes (Bay Cities wasn't open yet) then her entire surgery, 3 days at vet, all her medications and her follow up appointments!! I have been taking my pets to Dr. Cellu Dhawan for years. I get excellent care for my loved ones. Along with my new kitten, lizard, & canary, I have 2 standard schnauzers, which I must say Dr. Cellu Dhawan & Bobby have given the best attention to them. I always get a call back right away when I leave any kind of message, and an appointment any time I have called that fits my busy schedule. I receive the best customer service. I've been taking my animals to Bay Cities for over 13yrs and I've had great service there. Bobby the Tech has been very professional and Very personable and caring for all my animals. I moved out of the Bay Area a couple of years ago and I still haven't found an Animal Hospital like Bay Cities.

My family and I have been taking all our pets to Bay Cities for years now and I would and have highly recommended them to everyone! The Vets and staff there are especially knowledgeable and so great to my pets and family. And I must say when they tell you they'll keep you informed, that's exactly what they do. Bobby has always kept me informed via telephone every time I have brought my pets there whether it's for a checkup or for an emergency. The hours are flexible and the pricing is great. I have been going to Bay Cities for years. I have 2 Schauzers and 2 cats and they love my babies (pets) as much as I do. I always have a gratifying experience at Bay Cities, Bobby always takes the time to talk to me and to explain any procedures that is required. I always get a friendly and warm welcome from the receptionist. My appointments are made around my schedule and they fit me right in at last minute. I have been taking my pets to Bay Cities, 3 cats and my Rhodesian Ridgeback, "Roxie" for at least 10 years. I have never met kinder, professional and compassionate people to care for my loving critters. They have always been very available and return calls as promised. Their rates are very competitive, and they often try to minimize the costs, when possible. My wife and I have been taking our cats there for 10 years, without incident or difficulty. Their long hours have come in handy many times, such as just before Christmas 2008. One of our cats took longer to recover from surgery, but he is fine now (very old cat); as with people, not all pets respond precisely the same way to medication or anesthesia. I have and will continue to recommend Bay Cities Animal Hospital to others.

I am a registered nurse and have been going to Bay Cities for 10+ years. I get kind, compasionate and affordable healthcare for my pets (2 beautiful Ragdolls-currently). Working in surgery gives me a unique perspective. The review from the lady in Pleasanton is exactly the reason we do not allow parents into the Operating Room when their children are having surgery. Teeth cleaning on pets is not a routine procedure, the pets are under general anesthesia. Which is why they would need pre-operative labs prior to the procedure.... read more

I have been bringing my pets here since 94, 7 cats and 5 dogs, and have had nothing but good service. They are reasonably priced and have treated all of our animals with care. I will continue bringing my pets here until this changes....
