RecommendedWe had to rush our family dog to Bay Area for emergency care. The Dr. and staff were absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately we had to put our boy down ☹️ they made our family feel welcome and were more than accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Grand Traverse area. Thank you for taking such good care of Bear. You all made this difficult decision less stressful.
Drove our 6 mo old puppy 2 hrs for emergency treatment after she inhaled spores from a puffball mushroom and went into serious respiratory distress. After oxygen, steroids and antibiotics she survived. We are grateful for the patient, kind and professional staff!
I rushed my cat Havoc in last night at midnight 9-25-18 and we live an hour away. They treated him immediately with the upmost care and love that i could have asked for. He is still with them under their care and even though i am worried about my baby boy i am 100% confident in every staff member. Thank you for helping him, you have no idea how much that means to me!!!
My Cat, Wainwright, recently spent the better part of a week at this facility. His Kidneys had shut down. The superlative level of care, compassion and professionalism on the part of the entire staff was most gratifying. Wainwright recovered. The cost was most reasonable and the care was beyond repute. I would recommend this facility/hospital to any Pet owner.
We needed some routine care done within a week and were unable to get into our local vet. We drove to Bay Area Pet Hospital after they agreed to help! We were very happy with the staff and Dr. Super helpful and friendly and the price was great for an after hours “emergency” visit! Would highly recommend for any veterinary needs.
I lost my best friend on Sunday, today I went and picked up his ashes. it was hard but both great lakes pet memorial and bay area animal hospital made it suck just a little bit less. ranger was anything but a dog. he was my security blanket. he made me feel normal. he helped me a better mom to my kids. loosing all that is hard. but thank you for the love and compassion you gave me.
They did everything possible to figure out what was happening with my 3yr old cat Tiger! Ultimately, I chose to end her suffering and they were very supportive and made the process easy for me to handle! Losing a fur baby is NEVER easy...
The people here are very caring and understanding. I had to make a very hard decision yesterday about humanely euthanizing my dear Rosco. Unfortunately he had been in another fight and was injured badly, needing expensive surgery and to be separated from other animal. The only possibility was taking him to a shelter for the present with a slim chance of adoption. I just couldn't do that to him either.
