We had an emergency with our older dog Gracie who developed a severe hemorrhagic gastroenteritis episode while we were on vacation last week. She needed to stay with Bay Area for a couple of days to figure out what was going on, and what the fix was. The doctors and the staff were all incredible and attentive, even during very busy times and they treated Gracie like she was one of their own. They spent a lot of time making sure my kitty was well taken care of. I have NO complaints. Everyone was very professional and attended to everyone who walked in or called with the utmost respect and care for their babies. I am doubly appreciative that they have such a wonderful relationship with other vets in the area. Thank you so much!
RecommendedThese folks care. A lot!! Plus, being an emergency vet, they have a very specific set of skills, and workflow that you won’t find at other vets. The chain of communication between caregivers, and the record keeping is impeccable. We’ve been through a lot with these guys. We have very crazy, high maintenance, dogs. And they take such good care of them. We’ve been through emergencies, IMHA, mass cell tumors, plus all the routine stuff. And we are so happy here.
I completely recommend Bay area Pat hospital if you need it. They were so kind to my dog Beau and me.
Dr. Jencka & all the staff have been amazing!! Super supportive, as we navigate taking care of our beloved shih-tzu, with a probable brain tumor.

Wonderful staff, wonderful service, and reasonable prices (for an emergency vet). While we didn’t WANT to spend a Thursday evening at the vet, the whole staff made it a low-stress and comfortable experience for us. The receptionist staff was friendly and genuinely caring, and the doctor and her assistants did a wonderful job fixing our pup up! We will definitely return to them in the future and will recommend them to others.

I have had great confidence in the veteranarians & staff I have been involved with over 4 dogs. My great consolation is knowing that our records are on file when I've had 2 emergencies/bridge.
